- The most simple reason: the input level might be be too low, so try to turn up the volume slightly
- The might be some external noise around you – so try to keep your environment as quiet as possible during the measurement
- Mainly on Android, we saw devices with a lowpass filter integrated into the microphone with a cut-off frequency as low as 3.5 kHz. This causes problems at 33.3 RPM an makes it impossible to calibrate 45 RPM. Try to use a 1 kHz track instead of 3.15 kHz for calibration (Android only).
